So you've been wanting to dance like the stars? Here's your chance. Come to Sunday Lindy June 7th for great jazz music and vintage style swing dance. For only $5 you can enjoy a beginner dance lesson from 2:00pm to 2:30pm, followed by a social dance for everyone from 2:30pm to 5pm. This is fun for ages 10 to 99! Great music and friendly people - all in a beautiful place: Marquis on Magnolia at 1227 W Magnolia in Fort Worth. Open to all.

We had our 1st Sunday Lindy March 8th and it was a blast! About 72 folks showed up and danced to wonderful vintage tunes DJ'd by Chandler Smith and Will Thornton. Chandler Smith and Angelia Williams taught the beginner class. Helen and Kevin Dulac provided the sound system, water jug, and a fan. Thanks to all of these folks and to the volunteers who helped at the front desk and other tasks: Jayne Hale, Lynn Evans, Maggie Martin, Paul Sinclair, Wayne Martin, and Josh Shipman. Also thanks to Fort Worth Star Telegram and Fort Worth Weekly for posting the event on their calendars.
